The Playback Project is a citizen-led initiative that seeks to enhance transparency and accountability in England's local councils. The Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014 gives the public the right to film, photograph, and make audio recording of the proceeding of public council meetings.
Our goal is to make local government accessible to all citizens, improve transparency, accountability and professionalism in our councils.
